In your own words, what did it mean to have Paul alongside you in that season?
Having Paul alongside me in that season meant a lot more than just having support. To me, Paul was like a brother. He was someone who truly cared, who listened, and who made me feel understood even when things were not easy. There were moments when I felt confused, uncertain, or under pressure, but Paul always had a way of bringing comfort and reassurance.
He helped me understand situations better and encouraged me to see things with more clarity. Instead of feeling alone, I felt like someone was standing with me, guiding me, and reminding me of my strength. That kind of support gave me confidence and helped me keep moving forward, even when things were challenging.
Looking back, I realize how valuable inner peace, calm, and clarity were during that time. They allowed me to make better decisions, to respond instead of react, and to stay focused on what really mattered. With Paul’s presence, I was able to find that calm more easily. He created an environment where I could think clearly, reflect, and grow.
That season taught me that having the right people around you can make a big difference. Inner peace is not just something you find alone - it can also be strengthened by those who support and walk with you. Paul’s presence helped me build that peace and clarity, and it had a lasting impact on both my personal life and my leadership.
What, if anything, felt different about the way Paul listened, responded or supported you?
What felt different about the way Paul listened was how genuine and present he was. He didn’t listen just to respond—he listened to truly understand me. I never felt judged or rushed, and that made it easy for me to open up, even about difficult things.
His support was calm and thoughtful. Instead of giving me direct answers, he helped me think clearly and find my own understanding. He was patient, consistent, and always brought a sense of peace, especially when I felt stressed or overwhelmed.
If appropriate, can you share one practical way greater peace, clarity or steadiness helped you in life, relationships or leadership?
One practical way greater peace and clarity helped me was in how I made decisions. Before, I would sometimes react quickly because of pressure or emotions. But with more calm and clarity, I learned to pause, think carefully, and choose the best response. This helped me avoid mistakes and handle situations more wisely.
It also improved my relationships and leadership. I became more patient, listened better, and responded with understanding instead of reacting. This made people feel respected and built stronger trust with those I work and live with.
