In your own words, what did it mean to have Paul alongside you in that season?
Myself and Paul met at a very difficult time in my life. My life had been totally changed and turned upside down. A couple weeks before meeting Paul, I had decided that the only way to get me through my situation was a divine miracle. Prior to this I had very little connection to religion or divine beliefs. I was on a walk in the morning and thats where we crossed paths and we exchanged words. Paul said a prayer for me and read me out a piece of the Bible. Our paths crossing was nothing short of divine and I truly believe the faith Paul instilled in me through our meeting and chats is what has helped me get through the other side of what I was experiencing. Prior to this I felt trapped, sorry for myself and I struggled to see a light at the end of the tunnel, and thats what Paul helped me see - there was a light, and a few months later my life came back together and I will be forever grateful for what Paul has done for me.
What, if anything, felt different about the way Paul listened, responded or supported you?
I felt like I could tell Paul anything without any judgement. I never usually talk to my friends or family about my problems never mind a stranger at the time, but I felt a genuine care from Paul
If appropriate, can you share one practical way greater peace, clarity or steadiness helped you in life, relationships or leadership?
I was one of those people who always used to have to feel total control over my life and I would become stressed if I wasn’t in control, before turning to faith. Whereas now I feel a great clarity that my life path is being guided by a greater good, in life and with relationships.
