Boundaries

Clear boundaries protect you, the client, Paul, the advisor, and the integrity of the work.

The advisory service is confidential, non-clinical and framework-led. It is not therapy, diagnosis, emergency care or a substitute for professional support.

Core Boundary Statement

The 1-1 Executive Advisory service provides confidential, framework-led advisory support for leaders carrying hidden strain beneath visible success. It helps clients recognise patterns, interpret what may be happening across the five IWFF spheres and identify wise next steps.

It is not therapy, clinical diagnosis, psychiatric care, crisis support, legal advice, financial advice or medical advice. Where appropriate, clients may be encouraged to seek qualified professional support alongside or instead of advisory support.

Confidentiality Boundary

Client conversations are treated as confidential, except where there is a serious concern about risk of harm, safeguarding, legal obligation or immediate danger.

Non-Clinical Boundary

The advisor does not diagnose mental health conditions, treat trauma, prescribe care, provide clinical interventions or replace qualified therapeutic support.

Spiritual Boundary

Where spiritual language is welcomed by the client, prayer, Scripture and spiritual reflection may be used with care. These must never be used to pressure, shame, bypass emotion or replace appropriate professional support.

Relational Boundary

The advisor does not take sides in marital, family, board, investor, church or workplace conflict. The advisory space helps the client see their own inner world and next step more truthfully.

Decision Boundary

The advisor may help the client discern, reflect and clarify. The client remains responsible for their own decisions.
